I quit my job

I quit my 9-5 day job of 2 years and I am going back to school and picking up extra jobs as they come.
I couldn't be happier!
I had been at my previous job for 2 years. It was totally out of my field and frankly, I really didn't all that much care for it. If it wasn't for the owner, who is amazing, I would have left a long time ago.
For now I am delivering papers which is coooold right now, but it gets me outside and I get to take a 6 mile walk every day!
I had to tell someone, I think DH is tired of me walking into a room saying "I quit my job"
thanks for listening ladies, my test just opened so that's all the time I have for MDC right now. I'm busy-busy for being unemployed!

Congratulations. I've been fantasizing about quitting my 9-5 job lately, so it's really nice to hear someone else has done it. Good for you!

I quit my 9-5 job 3 years ago to consult--I had a year to figure it all out and now I'm busier than ever, but in a different way, and I am so grateful every day that I had the chance to make a change.
