I think you O'ed on Thursday or Friday.


AFM: Why must my body work against me? This is my second cycle taking Soy and I think it has finally moved up my O from cd 12-14 from Cd20-22. Care to squint at my OPKs with me . I'm a newbie at OPKs, these are $ store brand. The only problem is DP is out of town this weekend.

Bumminbeachbabe- I think you ovulated on CD26. Your cycle looks a lot like mine. Now for the 2WW… Ovulation will become clearer with more temps. Best of luck!

FF thought I ovulated on CD 14..well I had another temp spike on CD 26 so FF changed it to then. I thought I was almost done with my 2WW..now it gets to start all over. ::sigh:: Luckily, we BD’s the day before so I have a decent chance. Quite annoying not knowing when you are going to ovulate.

Well, you wont generally have open cervix during the luteal phase so I would have to agree with FF if you are positive it was open.

Bumminbeachbabe - I'm tiny too (4'11 and 110ish pounds) and most people take one look at me and tell me that I'm going to need a c-section. My response: "Really? Is it your x-ray vision or your crystal ball giving you this information?" That's why I started going to a MW, who thinks that as long as I have a small-to-average (7ish lbs) baby, I'll be fine. I hope you get the birth experience you want!!

Sweetmama - Vitex, along with a host of other herbal supplements, are available online. Not sure where you live in Canada, but if you live somewhere very remote you may have some issues with it being delivered promptly. Vitacost.com was recommended by several MDC ladies.

Just wanted to share that I am 5'1 and 95 lbs and my 3rd son was 9 lbs 0 oz, no tearing, born at home. Your body really is designed to birth the right-sized babies most of the time, if given the chance.

I agree... I think the only time it happens that they grow too big, like really too big for a mother to deliver... is in the case of medical problems such as diabetes.

I've seen really really tiny mamas give birth at home to HUGE (over 10 lb) babies! So much of it is about getting the baby in a great position.

Thoughts: I'm kind of wishing I'd kept up with temping this month because not temping has not made me stop thinking about TTC all the time. I just have less info to go off of! I have a killer yeast infection right now (I'm starting to think I may just have chronic yeast), so I'm happy that it looks like the Maca did its job and pushed my O date earlier this month. There is no way I could be BDing right now!

I started taking maca and dont mind it at all, in fact look forward to reaping the benefits of this food along with my accupuncture and herbs.

Thoughts: Our timing wasn't that great this month since I O'ed earlier than expected, so my hopes aren't up at all. I've been really laid back this cycle. As I predicted last week, FF changed my O date (twice this cycle!) The first O date it marked was CD9, then CD11, and now CD12, which I agree with.

I agree though, I think our bodies are built for this. My mom, grandma, and cousins all had v-births and all have similar builds to mine. Small girls are tougher than we look!

Thoughts: Just got back to work this morning after a week-long, wonderful, relaxing vacation with DH. (We went to the Florida Keys - highly recommended!) I got pretty sick on the way home, and had a fever over the weekend. I'm almost positive I O'd at some point, b/c all signs point to "yes," but I don't know exactly when. We BD'd like bunnies all week so we're covered, but I wish I had a date. The past few cycles I've been Oing on CD13 (yesterday), but my temp this morning was signifigantly higher than most of my previous 1dpo temps. We shall see...
