Ok ladies, I am supposed to be getting stuff done but I had to share the (2nd) best anniversary gift I got this morning with SMU:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2705/...b986a38e_b.jpg

I got a closer than close almost positive OPK yesterday afternoon, and I really should have retested later that day, but DS has a stye in his eye so I have been nursing him back to health. Anyway, we BD last night, will for sure sometime today and hopefully tomorrow AM before DH leaves on his trip. I am thinking I may have actually Od yesterday b/c I had a significant temperature rise this AM, but I am just going to record my first positive as today for now and worry about that later. Anyway, I am soooooo excited that we have a shot this month! I really thought our timing would be off! And so glad we BD yesterday! TMI but I was very lubricated down there all day (and I don't mean sexual arousal lubrication). I am no good at checking CM, but I'd guess it was EWCM from how it looked when I wiped. OMG now we catch this egg!

ETA: that result came up in about 5 seconds. The test line was that dark before the control line even showed up!

Yay LuckyMama, congrats!!!!

I'm 11 DPO, due for AF tomorrow, cried several times this morning for stupid reasons, so I broke down and took my $tore test (sensitivity of 25) and it was a BFN. Boo. So maybe AF's on the way and I'm just super sensitive this month. Darn. Oh well! But if AF doesn't show up by Friday I guess I'll test again.

Thanks everyone! We have an EDD of Nov.5th, although I spoke with the midwifes office and they gave me an EDD of Nov.9th. I am 10DPO today, still lots of lotiony Cm and CP seems to be going higher now, and still soft. My boobs are pretty sore also. Cant believe it was a BFP so early, My DH was asking me, is it positive for sure? Because it was really light, but no squinting was required its definatly there!! Also I am crampy which is a very normal early preg. symptom for me.

Baby dust to all

I've been waiting for my nurse practitioner to call me about when I need to go in for my prog test. I wanted to make sure that it was 7dpo. Apparently she wasn't listening to me when I said that my lp last 7 days. When she finally called me back today she said that I need to do it 7 days before my period was supposed to start. Seriously? Why didn't she say that instead of saying 7dpo. Apparently I should have gone the day I ovulated. I told her that I'm already 6dpo, but she said to come in and do it anyways. She'd forgotten that I have a short lp and that's why we were testing.

ETA: I'm trying to find the upside of things, so I was looking at my old charts and realized that this cycle has had the BEST temps post O ever. They are beautiful!
Lucky Mama - Congrats!!

Lemoncello - your chart looks awesome... I'd never have enough control to not POAS at this point.

OJazzy - sorry AF found you!
bumminbeachbabe- I wouldnt be too worried, your nurse is wrong it is 7dpo when they test your prog. She must be confused!! I have had my prog test forms sitting around the house since dec and it says prog test day 21 and when i asked DR she said thats based on a 28 day cycle, she told me to wait until 7dpo to go in for it, i keep putting off my test though as i keep thinking nuh im going to be pregnant this cycle!!!
I know my issues are stress related so im spending this cycle destressing and will see what happens!!!

Congrats LuckyMama!

I'm am going crazy over here not knowing when I O'd (and therefore having no idea when to expect AF...or not). My breasts are normally sort of sore during the 2ww, but I think they might be *particularly* sore this month. I went running yesterday (with a supportive bra and all), and it was kind of horrible! It could just be the Maca though...

Morning everyone! Glad to hear lots of positive news floating around today. I'm in a much better mood this morning than I have been for almost a week, which is a relief. The emotional roller coaster I've been on has been no fun at all! I'm still really anxious about the outcome of things this cycle. I started cramping ever so slightly yesterday evening, just for a few minutes. I also felt some cramping last night after I got up to go to the bathroom, and even now I have a little twinge of something "down there." My face also is a little broken out today, so now I'm starting to wonder if AF is coming after all. Why, oh why, do period symptoms and early pregnancy symptoms have to be the same!? Argh! It makes me crazy. Poor DH is so tired of hearing me say, "I might be,.... then again, I might not...." Oh, and I do not have enough self-control of my own to wait to do a HPT. It's just that I promised DH I'd wait until Friday, so I'm waiting (even though it's driving me crazy!) I know I could have probably gotten an accurate test result today, since I'm 14 DPO...but I am giving AF one more day to show, just in case. I usually do have relatively short cycles, so I really think I should have been spotting by now, which gives me hope....but I'm still trying to look at things with a dose of reality mixed in.

Anyway, enough rambling from me! I must go get something done around the house today! Here's to strong O's and BFP's all around!

Well, I got a BFN yesteday (already told you guys that), and woke up this morning at 4:30 to heinous cramps and AF. We decided to put off TTC for a few months, due to not wanting another Dec baby. Too many birthdays/holidays in December in our family, and it's just too much, so we're going to wait and maybe try for a March or later baby.

I'm oddly at peace with this, even though I thought I'd be upset, but it gives me a bit more time to finish some home improvement projects and work really hard on my garden this year (first year really doing a big one).

Good luck to everyone, sending lots of O and BFP vibes your way!

So you can remove me from TTC for now, I'll be back in a few months! Good luck to everyone!!!

Lemoncello: You have so much self control for not testing! I onlymade it to 9DPO lol!! Your symptoms sound a lot like line did (still do). The cramping is how I always knew I was preg, although like you said, so frustrating to have AF have the same symptoms! Tomorrow is the big day, fingers and toes are crossed over here! Cant wait to hear from you!

Butterfly1001: When I was TTC my 1st son, it took a while and we decided to take a break. I know what you mean by feeling relieved. Its nice to take that pressure off of yourself even if only for a short period. Sex can be for fun now, rather than having a procreational purpose

Katiedidder: I didnt do any OPK's this month either, so I had an educated guess as to when I O'd, so frustrating for sure. For what its worth, my boobs are KILLING ME, and about 4 DPO they started to get sore and its just gotten more and more, Hope its you rmonth!

EricaRN: Thats great news that your AF is practically done, now you can get down to business . How frustrating to have such long cycles! Hope you feel better!

Bummunbeachbabe: Yay for your beautiful temps!

Lawmama: Catch that egg!!!!!! Heres hoping the 2ww goes quick and end with a BFP for you!

ojazzy1: sorry about AF!

sweetmama: i agree with ojazzy1, but I am also not an expert on this stuff

AFM: 11DPO, boobs are sore sore sore, still cramping off and on, really tired although with a 2 and 3 year old, thats normal for me lol. Still have the lotiony CM, CP still medium-high, closed, but soft.

Thanks for all the support ladies and I will be watching to see how it all goes, wishing BFP's al around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you all temp during AF?

I usually do. I don't check CP or CM though. I know it's a mess, I don't need to stick my fingers in there to figure it out. lol
post #419 of 472
Congrats to the new BFP's!

ojazzy1- I check temps during AF just for reference. I'm still new to charting so once I figure out my general pattern, I'll most likely stop temping turn AF. Sorry to hear that came this cycle. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you on the next cycle!

lemoncello- You're not the only one driving your hubby crazy! Mine doesn't want me to POAS quite yet because "I'm wasting HPT money," lol. He's been interested in my charts even though he's not too sure what to look for. It's cute.

Whatcha think?

I'm currently 8dpo!
Had a dip at 6dpo..hopefully implantation!
Twinges in my right side lower abdomen
Nips are a bit more sensitive..maybe because I'm looking for it, hah
Thick, creamy CM? anyone else have this?
Very tired
Have NOT broken out like usual. Hmm.
Temps are still high
Emotional..I cried at the end of a TV show about adoption..and I NEVER cry.

Hoping I'm not making this up in my head!
Chart- http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2b0d62

I think I will test in the next few days..

I went to see my new ob today. Big surprise coming (can you hear the sarcasm?). She pretty much decided that the sporadic nursing is my issue in getting pregnant. I had to ask her to run a prolactin level before she made a decision like that. She doesn't feel like progesterone supplementation will help me. She says she'd like me to wait the full year before we do anything and that includes the lap procedure to check for endo. She says that my charts mean nothing (she wouldn't even look at them) and she's not even sure I am ovulating. According to her charting won't really tell you that. I'd have to have an u/s within 3 days of a bfp opk.

I'm now an odd mixture of anger and deflation. I usually start spotting on 7dpo so I'm waiting for it to happen today.

Ojazzy, I don't temp when af is here. I figure it doesn't matter much and I temp vaginally, so I don't want to deal with the mess.
