beautyonthebeach83-- CONGRATS on the BFP!!! Thank you also for the pep talk!! I appreciate that alot!!
Thanks so much for the pep talk as well ladies!!!!!

I'm feeling more upbeat....especially after I got some heavier cramps tonight. Not period cramps. Very different. Very low, and definitely in the uterine area. Twingy stretchy cramps.

I am crossing my fingers BIG TIME. I will test again tomorrow morning. I am hoping for a little glimmer of SOMETHING tomorrow morning. I really am feeling more positive.

Honestly I will be QUIET surprised if I am not pregnant this cycle. I am starting to really feel like I am. I even had a few little cases of nausea today too. Not much..but enough to make me notice..

I also came to the decision today that if I am not pregnant this cycle, I am going in to talk to the midwife that delivered DD to see if there is any way that I could get some blood draws for my hormone levels (especially my progesterone after I ovulate). I am really hoping I don't have to worry about that though and that we are pregnant. I really really have a lot of hope this cycle now....especially after these cramps. I thought maybe it was because I had to pee, but even after I peed they still were there..and it was for a few hours.

Anyway..my fingers are crossed and I hope to God that tomorrow shows me SOMETHING..ANYTHING! LOL!

Will update tomorrow!!!

Congratulations to the BFPs! I just went to the front page to have a look at some BFP charts and saw that the success stories don't have charts. Why is that? Am I the only one who would like to be able to look at a chart after the BFP?

Wow, congrats to all the BPFs. I was out of touch over the weekend, and it looks like a lot of good news !

AFM: I O'd yesterday. Did not get the cross hairs from FF today, but I put them in myself (I am impatient) I had multiple outlets telling me that I O'd - positive opks for two days, my monitor said I would O yesterday, and my temp was up today. Sounds like a sure thing to me (knocking of wood...).

I am pretty hopeful this month, for some reason I am feeling like this may be my lucky month. Perhaps that is just my frustration for TTC for a long time (at least it seems like a long time to me), or the fact that I FINALLY got EWCM for the first time in 8 months this cycle. It really drank a ton of water this month, so I think that is why.

I have felt really hopeful a few times in the past, only to have AF arrive 13 days later. Anybody else just get a good feeling that this was their month at some point, only to find out that is was (or wasn't)?

Socal, could you move me back to tww? Thanks!

11 DPO- BFN on IC test this am.... temp went up even higher today...probably will re-test later today since I have a stockpile of IC's to use...might as well have fun peeing on them! Trying to keep my chin up and not let this bum me out- I'm not out yet- keep repeating that to myself...I'm NOT out yet- AF has not arrived!!! I have to say though- my chart sure does look nice for a BFP though- doesn't it??!! I know you can't put your stock in temps though...

For those who asked, here is my BFP chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/298a90

When I started TTC in september 09, I got pregnant right away (even though I bled like a period at 8 DPO). I had a m/c at 10 weeks.
The next cycle, I had a 8 day LP so I decided to take B6. The cycle after that, I had a 9 day LP. Since I'm not very patient, I decided to start taking Vitex and red raspberry leaves on top of the B6 and got my BFP. So far, I am 5.5 weeks pregnant and I haven't bled at all so I will take it as a good sign. I'm still very scared though because I don't think I could handle another m/c.
Good luck to all of you!

Congrats to all the BFPs! Sticky vibes your way!

I'm on cycle day 10 and realized today that I haven't really thought about TTC too much this month--in fact, DH is the one who keeps asking our DD if she wants a little sister/brother. AF was a lot heavier this month, more like a regular period, so I'm pretty hopeful. But.....we just bought plane tickets to go see my parents in Shanghai (they just moved there as American ex-pats) in May, so if I got pregnant this cycle I'd be about 14 weeks for the trip....and If not, then I'd be looking at traveling during the first trimester....ugh. So, while we aren't going to quit TTC, I don't know if I'd be too upset if I weren't pregnant before the trip....but I'm probably just saying that...I'm sure I'll continue to have horrible POASitis until my BFP!

congrats zensven42, gen24, beautyonthebeach83! (and all the other BFP mamas I might have missed) How fantastic.

gen24- major sticky vibes your way. Thanks for sharing your chart. Mind if I ask how much b6 and Vitex you were taking? I'm doing the same thing, but have gotten really conflicting advice over how much is too little/too much.

Kingsdaughter & xtara2003x- major hope and fx for you in your wait. I can't wait to hear updates.

Fx for everyone else in their TWW.

yummama- I hear you on being not super excited about traveling in the first tri. We took a long-planned vaca to South America when I was 11-13wks pg with DD. The early pg kinda took a lot of the fun out of it b/c I was sick and stressed about traveling. Still, I get to tell my DD that she traveled internationally before she was born So, either way, I hope it works out for you.

AFM, I shouldn't have questioned my light period! Now AF's here in a MAJOR way (bringing her friends irritable, headache, cramps and backache, too, how nice ). I sure am glad we're TTC, b/c otherwise, I would be majorly pissed to have a serious AF at 9mon pp with eco-bf'ing! (I got 16 months off with DS and was much less-frequent nurser)

I used a CBEFM to conceive DD. I passed it on to a friend after. She has since given birth. She doesn't know we're ttc, but I'm pondering asking for it back. Not sure I want our ttc business out in the open yet, tho. Also not sure if the FM would work for me yet, as I'm bf'ing and have just had a majorly long cycle.
*Anyone use it with bf'ing? I know they say it might not work, but what have you noticed?

Trying to decide, if I do ask for it back, if I should 'trick' it for an assumed long cycle or just go with my real CD's and hope I O before CD 26...

I know we had a discussion like this before, but how close to pre-pg were your cycles once they got back to normal? For the six months pre-DD, I O'd btwn CD17-23... wondering how close to that I'm going to get again...

Fly by...

Too tired to keep up with personals, sorry ladies, though I did catch up on reading.
Congrats to the BFPS! Hugs to those who are out right now...

Managed not to temp for 4 whole days... temps today and yesterday are still low. Got yet another positive OPK yesterday. That makes how many in 2 months??!

Think I will temp again tomorrow and then take another break. I sleep better when I am not charting.

babygrey: I took a B100 complex and an extra 50 mg. For vitex, I took 400mg 3 times a day (I read that you need at least 1000mg a day to increase LP length). I took it throughout my cycle except during AF. It's supposed to take 2-3 months to have an effect on the body but for some people like me, it seems to have worked right away.

Wow it's wonderful to see so many BFP. Congratulations to all of you.

AFM I'm 4 dpo. I'm curious, anyone have pimples be a sign this early on? Seriously, yesterday I suddenly had 5 of them on my chin. I occasionally get one or two, but never this many...lol
post #157 of 386
wow.. so many BFP's! exciting!

beachlover: the last few months i have been a few getting pimples. for me its a sign of early pregnancy, but im not pregnant.. i am so confused by this.even in my teenage years i never got more than one a few times a year. i'm beginning to wonder if its something else hormonal going on..

good luck to mamas testing soon
gentleness to those who have gotten AF lately.

AFM:
i'm on cd 8.. getting headaches again everyday. i just don't know what's going on with my body. im tired and headachey and cant sleep well. its unusual for me, that's for sure. i haven't started temping yet.. i think im going to take a month off of stressing about wanting to get pregnant. the last month was so hard and not being pregnant when i was so sure that i was was a really huge blow to my sense of intuition and self knowledge.
my dp is still really on the NO side of things and im not going to have my hopes up to be crushed again. that said, come mid week i am going to try to seduce him as much as possible but then im not going to even think about babies for 2 weeks.. *if only it was that simple*

I'm not even sure what a CBEFM is, but I suggest that you say that you want it back to loan it out to someone else. That way you don't have to tell her that you're TTC, and she can't really question it because she was borrowing it, too. Maybe she'll want to know who it's for if you have all the same friends. Then you could say that it's for your cousin who she doesn't know. Or just say that it's someone who begged you not to tell.

savy woman, you are. I'm not generally one for fibbing, but, I think in this case, that might be the way to go. I'll just tell her that the woman doesn't want anyone to know yet. Cuz that's true.

FYI- CBEFM= Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor. It is sort of like OPKs on steroids. You test for 10-20 days/cycle- it measures LH and estrogen and gives you high and peak days, so way easier to predict upcoming O (esp for me as my OPKs with bf'ing tend to almost always be + or nearly + or hard to interpret.) With my irregular cycles/endo, I found it a godsend when ttc DD (plus, I know they say *not* to do it, but we used it for a few months prior for birthcontrol planning and that was nice).

They say that it may give you faulty results when bf'ing, so I think I'm going to call them tomorrow and find out what that's about, b/c if it isn't going to work, the investment in test sticks (WAY more than OPKs) isn't worth it...

Thanks! So nice to hear- I'm lining up right where you were taking- 150mg b6 (in complex) and I go between 500 and 1000mg/day Vitex. (someone posted on here about being anov maybe d/t Vitex and I got a little scared, so I've been taking either one or two caps/day depending on whether I'm feeling like it will help or hurt ) I am taking mine during AF, b/c I've also read that it is supposed to cut down on cramping- which is a major issue for me. This is only my second ppaf, but I *do* have less cramping.

This is my second month on both, so fx it'll work for me like it did for you. Congrats, again!
