I would be due Oct. 23rd as well!!!!!!

We could end up being due date buddies!! When are you testing again? I'm starting at 9DPO on Feb. 8th!! So in one week!

zensven42~ hope the 2ww starts to go by faster for you

Thanks for the new thread, SoCali & sorry to hear about your BFN today. For what it's worth, my BFP never shows until a week or so after AF is due.

lifeguard - I feel for you, waiting for AF (especially with EWCM) makes me nutty! I got my first PPAF just over a month after LO nightweaned at 18 months....don't give up hope! That said, I've been temping/charting ever since and am all over the map. FF says I may have O'd on CD9 but I really don't think it's possible. LO still nurses like a champ all day long so maybe that's part of it.

Congrats to those who've got their BFPs, and hugs to those who got the BFNs. Here's sending lots of babydust to all of us. It's still early this year & we all could have 2010 babes yet!

must run, baby's crying & DH can't soothe her

babygrey- thanks.. . I think? Since Xtara joined the group, when you say Tara, not sure if anyone is talking to me or her! LOL.

FF took away my crosshairs today... finally. I was sick of it saying I was 25 dpo. No rise for me, so tomorrow is my absolute deadline on anything happening for a temp shift. If not, then another fake out for me, but at least not as bad as having it rise for a week then fall!!!! So final update tomorrow. But if no rise, I wanna move to Waiting to be Ready... just gonna wait for PPAF to show before I worry about ttc so much.

Socali- any sign of AF yet? Don't worry I will post again in bold tomorrow if I need to be moved.

Tara2, I had my crosshairs taken away too! I koinda feel like the naughty girl in class!
I suppose I new it all along. Still haven't taken a test, still waiting on the ICs to turn up in the mail! Hopefully today. Then I can pee on a stick and be done with it!
I think my resolve is wanning as each month passes. I go to bed every night, quite tired, thinking, oh well, it's probably better if I don't have another baby as I am so tired...but I wake up everyday praying for another! I would love to have some semblence of a normal cycle to obsess over! I know it will come eventually, I'm losing patience though!

Congratulations on the BFP's! It's great. Can you lucky ladies tell me how far pp you are?

Hello, I'm Sarah, I was active on this thread when TTC our almost 2 year old son. We are not actively TTC, but we aren't preventing, it's one of those if it happens it happens things. Well, I got my PP AF back when James was 15 months old and I have been having long and what I thought were annovulatory cycles since. Well, last cycle I had a miscarriage, so I must be more fertile than I thought. That hit me kind of hard and I've been thinking more about TTC so that brought me back here. I am still in the m/c cycle and I have no idea when Af will come back. I am charting CF, but not temping, I've thought of breaking the thermometer back out since I didn't think I ovulated last month and obviously did so I may need to keep a closer watch on my cycle. James is a sporadic nurser, he nurses 1-2 times a day, but skips days too. I'm happy to see that this is still a great and active thread. Can you please put me in the 2WW since I'm still waiting for AF?

Hi there! I've been AFK while, but wanted to start posting here again (even if it's infrequent). DD is 10 months old and we are TTC #2.

I got my first PPAF when she was only 13 weeks old. I have had one consistently since then, but sometimes my cycles are still 40+ days long. I find taking B-complex seems to help normalize my cycles, but most cycles I don't have any signs of ovulation (HSO, EWCM, etc). I think drinking more water will help things, b/c I hate how I seem to be pretty dry down there since I'm nursing.

We have not used "protection" for about 7 months now, but to be honest it's hard to find time to even have sex with a 10-month old who is crawling and into everything and rarely naps.

Anywho, any advice (especially on how to find time for DTD) would be appreciated!

That would be cool! :-) I tend to test WAY too early...lol... usually start peeing on things around 6 dpo...HA! I have about 50 Ic's just calling to me... lol!

sarahn4639~ Welcome to the group.

peaches' mom~ Thanks for mentioning that.I'm trying to stay hopefully since still no AF yet.

Tara2~ Still no af yet just brown spotting with some ewcm tinged with blood. still holding out hope that af stays away. Oh no about FF taking away your coverline.

filiadeluna~ No good advice on how to find time to dtd. When we just had dd it was usually when she was in bed for the night or when she was napping.

Congrats Jessiebird!! yay!!!

I can't believe how long the tww is - I was planning to just take it easy and not think about it, but I can't stop (and it's only been like 5 days)! How many days past o can I test? (with ept)

JessieBird major congrats to you!

SoCaliMommy about your bfn. fx for AF staying away and for your bfp

Tara2 I was talking about your chart. I don't know if it was a compliment, cuz I feel so bad about your never-ending wait. Just wanted to let you know I thought of you. I'm thinking I'm in the same boat, temp didn't rise today, so I bet my crosshairs get taken away, too, although, holding out a tiny bit of hope cuz we had a rough night- ODS has strep and DD was restless and we just didn't sleep much... I think you are a strong mama to back off ttc for a bit if your ppaf doesn't show soon. I wish there was a way we could magically tell mother nature we were ready, but, alas, just not up to us... I'm pretty sure it was you who me to relax and let things happen and my compliments to you on refocusing yourself if you need to.

gumblossom I totally know where you're at with the frustration of not having a normal cycle. sigh.

filiadeluna- my DD is just a few weeks younger than your LO. We basically find time when she's asleep. Easier said than done, I know...

KingsDaughter76- how cool about your hopeful duedate!

AFM- Can I just say how much I want a Halloween-time baby?? I have an xmas-time baby and an Easter-time baby and I so badly want an autumn baby! Still warm enough to take a nb for walks, but chilly enough to snuggle up inside, plus think of the bday parties in the pumpkin patch! ack! I so wish I was O'ing...

Wendlynnn Tww can stretch forever can't it?? If you are an obsessor, you theoretically could start poas 6dpo, but the chances of that being bfp are so very tiny... so I guess it depends on your stash of sticks and your resolve at looking at a maybe false bfn. When I'm being obsessive, I start poas @ 10dpo (when I got my bfp for DD) I assume you've joined up the obsess&test thread?

zwitterion glad your appt went okay. sorry doc couldn't offer something you hadn't thought of, tho. Hopefully, you're right about your cold and O will be here soon.

Well if you nurse your LO to sleep in your own bed, you can DTD while she sleeps next to you while she is nursing (rear entry). You could put her in a front carrier/sling of some kind and do it standing up, leaning over or resting your back on the wall or something. One thing that works if you have a recliner is to sit on it, slouch down with your butt towards the front of the seat, and "rock" or nurse the babe to sleep. Works like a charm!

Congrats JessieBird!!

8 dpo today. Not sure how I feel about this cycle. Guess we'll find out in a few days!
Congrats Jessiebird!!!

As far as DTD with the LO... What Zensven suggested doesn't work for us, DH is too distracted to "perform" but, we often sneak in a little BD while LO is in the swing (we only get about 10-15 minutes this way) or as evidenced in my chart, mostly I either wake DH a little when I come to bed after finally getting DD down (@2am) or DH "wakes" me when he gets up for work in the morning.

AFM, I've been trying to read everyone's posts and keep up but I'm getting really aggravated with this cycle. I'm still waiting to O. I think I'm on CD 65? 66?...grrr...I don't know. Why is it that I've had 3 fairly normal cycles PP and when I decide to temp & chart, I get my longest, most frustrating cycle ever?
I keep thinking I'm gearing up to O because I've had some watery CM and my temps are less erratic, anyone want to look and let me know what you think?
Can I please be moved to Waiting to Know? We did a morning insem today and if all goes ok, will be testing on Valentine's Day.

Congrats Narn and Jessiebird!!

Yea, DH could never perform under those circumstances either. We just wait until DS has a nap or after he goes to bed. Sometimes I get up early and wake up DH.

TXmom2~ Your chart still looks annovulatory

babygrey~ That would be neat to have a baby around halloween or on halloween day, i overhead a mom talking to another mom at my daughter's school saying her son was born on halloween day.

AF showed up sometime durring the night, on to the next cycle If we catch the egg this cycle edd would be Nov 14th. Both my kids are summer babies, well my daughter was due in Sept but decided to be born in August and my son was born in May he was due in June.

Filia, DS is also 10 months so I hear that! Very spirited little one who also hates naps. I do like PP said and when I nurse him to sleep and lay him down I immediately wake DH for a BD quickie. Most of this cycle our bd has been quickies because it's been so late at night/early in the morning, but that's ok. DH and I could never DTD with baby near by. DH even felt creepy DTD when I was 9 months preggo. lol. But anyway...as for the dryness, DS was conceived when I had NO ewcm whatsoever, so I wasn't even sure I o'ed!!! I guessed when I was going to "o" based on 2 previous cycles (1 m/c, 1 chemical) and used Preseed. Of course I didn't bf at the time so my cycles were super regular. TTC #2 is a different story entirely. Anyway, good luck to you!

Jessiebird! Great news!

Solcali on AF.

Welcome, Sarah and Filia

gumblossom and tara2 on your crosshairs going away. That happened twice on my first PP cycle. Made me crazy!

to everyone in the tww!

Positive OPK this morning, so I'm hoping to see that temp shift soon.
