Filtering bran out?

I am planning on making some gluten free bread from scratch with quinoa. buckwheat and millet. My question is.. I have a nice grain mill. but if it grinds everything into flour .. how do you filter out the bran? This may seem like an obvious question... but should I just get some kind of sifter like a fine sieve to do it? Just curious if anyone else does it.

I realize I could just get white flour which has all the bran removed but I don't want pure white. I also realize I could mix white and a whole flour but I want to do it all from scratch

I've used a mesh strainer when I wanted my flour to be finer. it's kind of tedious but it works.
