Austin OB that will attempt vaginal breech birth?

Does anyone know of an OB in the Austin area that is skilled in breech births?

I don't think there is one. I know someone that ended up traveling to Denton last summer for a successful vaginal breech birth because there was no one in Austin. There are homebirth midwives though. I can try to get the OB's contact info if you're interested.

Does Dr. Sebestyen do breech? Seems like she would do it if anyone does, though she still has to deal with hospital policy at St. Davids.

There is a SLIGHT possibility that Dr. Polon would attempt a breech birth with the right circumstances. I don't think Sebestyen will. Some homebirth midwives I would ask would be some of the older and more experienced midwives such as GB Khalsa, Mary Barnett, Michele Fitzgerald and Marimikel Penn. It's really going to depend on the circumstances.
