wool soakers..convince me

Thread Starter
Hi, I have been using BTP swaddlebees and motherease with my ds (now 19months). I need to get some new wraps as our (mainly 2nd hand) poly-whats-it-called are now leaking and we don't have enough in his size. I am tinkering with the idea of wool, but I am not convinced that they will not leak/ wick water through.
Could you please give me any experience you have of wool covers. I am also expecting again and am thinking of getting knitting for then too.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks x

Wool has worked very well for us. I have used it since birth with my ds2 and it's what we used most often for my ds1 overnight before starting PT'ing...

I like handknit best for daytime. Two layers of interlock are bulletproof for nighttime when well lanolized.

just lanolize it well -- and wool is better then *anything* if it is a thick wool (we have some cozy longies that are great for day, but not for nighttime.) the aristocrats soaker is good...

I second the Aristocrats soaker! I love it and it works great for overnight or daytime use. I'm a first time wool user, too and I'm very glad I have my Aristocrats.
