First, I have been EBF my little guy for the last 6 months and he absolutely refuses to take a bottle. We have tried everything. I wait until he is happy and done nursing as our lactation consultant suggested and then my mom or my DH try and give him a bottle, we have tried changing the bottles and the nipples, letting him play with the bottle, me being out of the room or ou of the house and nothing seems to work
Any ideas on how to get him to take a bottle? Eventually, I would like to go out on a date with my DH but so far I have only been able to scoot out while he naps if my mom is around.
Second, how much does your 6 m/o weigh? Evan was born on the lighter side (6lbs 2ounces) and he weighs about 14lbs 14ounces now. according to our Ped he is in the 25th percentile (which doesn't matter much to me) but my first DS was always in the 90th percentile when he EBF....but, he weighed almost 8lbs at birth. As a nursing mom, I sometimes worry that he's not getting enough milk, but he sleeps through the night and seems happy.
TIA
