Elena Rose is here, my HBAC baby! I finally went into labor early Friday morning, 2:30am, the midwives came, and she was out by 6am!! She was 7lbs 4oz (despite her cooking for a full 42 weeks) and perfectly healthy. We couldn't feel more blessed. I am SOOO glad I waited to go into labor naturally - I was getting awfully impatient there at the end and tempted to ask my midwife to do "something" (strip membranes, whatever). I realize Elena needed every minute in the womb she had. The birth was super-intense cause she came so fast, but I'd do that again a hundred times before I ever gave birth in a hospital again.
Love to all and baby dust to those still waiting!
