This Due Date Club will be archived and closed to posting in 48 hours. You will still be able to access the pages and reminisce about your pregnancies and births , but you will no longer be able to post to the forum.

Thank you so much ladies. In these modern times we aren't surrounded by our mothers, aunts, sisters, cousins and neighbors from whom we can feel supported and understood. They say it takes a village...

Thank you for being my village. This was my first pregnancy, but everything I've learned through my DDC will echo throughout my next pregnancies I'm sure. Good-bye!

Wow it seems like it was just last week that the Sept comm closed.. o.O

I am very grateful for all of you. Being able to come here and talk about things really helped me get through my pregnancy and, when I had time, these first few months.

Yes, thank you all for your support when I was feeling down, or just clueless. It seems like a very long time ago now that I logged in here for the first time!
You all made me laugh, informed me, made me think hard about my pregnancy and birth, gave me joy when all the little ones started arriving, kept me busy with our mega-spreadsheet and announcements thread when I was stuck on bedrest and going batty, and gave me a feeling like there was always someone out there willing to listen.

i will never get another ddc and i'm terribly sad to see this one close. you all were very kind to me during a difficult and totally "unnatural" pregnancy and birth. i've been judged in other areas of this site for not being crunchy enough, but i never felt that here with you ladies.

thank you for loving me and millie and for getting us through what i hope was the hardest time in both our lives.

In the middle of the night, while I was nursing Dylan, I was thinking about you all and just wanted to thank you. It was a pretty lonely pregnancy for me and a few difficult months and you all helped to make it better. Thanks for always listening to me and offering insight.

I loved hearing all of your birth stories and sharing in the new lives we have brought in to the world. I'll look forward to pictures on Facebook. Thank you again..you have meant the world to me.

I, too, will never be part of another DDC. I don't feel like this is goodbye because I will keep up with you all in LWAB or facebook or MDC retreat. Has anyone started a chat thread for us in LWAB?

I have so enjoyed going through pregnancy with all of you and getting to know you. It was fun. Let's keep it going in the other places. I want to see all the October DDC babies as they grow! My baby will be four months old on Sunday! I can't believe it.

If there isn't a chat thread in LWAB I will start one and please post new pics of your babes with their age!

I'm very grateful to have been pregnant alongside a wonderful group of like-minded mamas. I'll probably never meet you IRL, but y'all made me feel so comfortable and confident in the way I wanted to birth and parent.
