So its all about routine and we always go potty before brushing teeth. Well apparently DD was too tired and decided to throw a fit and refuse to go to the bathroom and now it has become a habit! What to do....what to do!

If she isn't having accidents at night then I think you should let it go and trust her to use the bathroom when she needs to. Only she knows when she really needs to go and even if she does try to use it as a sleep escape thing later in the night she can only draw using the bathroom out once for a few minutes and she'll find other ways to escape bedtime if that is what she is determined to do, so it just isn't something that I think is worth fighting.

She wakes us up twice at night even after she "goes" before bed....so I guess I was thinking its going to change her getting up at night. I like the idea of not going potty however I'm a little scared she will get up THREE times to go potty at night......but highly doubtful!!
Thanks Ladies!

Kids are hard to convince when it comes to taking a bath especially when the weather is so cold. When I was still a kid, my mother would usually get angry because I refuse to take a bath. My kid also refuses to take a bath especially in the morning. So what I do is I prepare warm water every time she would take a bath.

I usually have a "let them listen to their body" approach, BUT if it will almost surely involve a wet bed, waking up the family in the middle of the night....then I insist. With my son, I'd say, ok, you don't have to really go...just try and put THREE droplets into the toilet. Just three. So he'd go in and try his 3 drops and of course the rest would follow. :-)
