It's Groundhog Day and I just got the sad news that our DDC will close in 48 hours. I didn't see a thread for us so here it is ladies. Let's see some new pictures!

I was a Sept DDC mama, but my little stubborn guy wanted to be an Oct baby, so I'll probably be stalking this thread too

Just had our 4 month well baby this morning...he's 14lbs14oz and 26.5in.

Hi! I was not in the DDC but i would love to join this thread! My little guy was born October 12th and we are fairly new to MDC.

Welcome to October '09, mamas! Glad to have you!

Lyra was a shade under 12 pounds at her 3 month WBV. We've decided to not carry on with them, as I don't much care for her pediatrician (He suggested introducing solids then and scoffed at the idea of baby-led and delayed solids, not even to mention our decision to not vaccinate).

We can have her weighed/measured whenever we like at the local health unit.

All of a sudden my newborn was replaced with a grinning, roly-poly baby! I know it wasn't overnight, but it sure seems like it sometimes.

Hi Jacqui, my boy was born on the 12th, too! And I live in Beaverton. We're close!

Hard to believe our DDC is closing and our babes are here and growing so quickly!! Where did the last year go?!?! DS2 is a big, chunkey monkey. He was almost 6 weeks early and had the tummy surgery, but has gained weight quickly since!! In mid-January he was nearly 15 pounds!

Gotta remember how to post pics, I have some cute ones!

Hey ladies-I'm glad to see we are here. Owen had his 4 month WBV and he is doing fabulous. He was 15.07lbs and 25 inches, so he is growing well and all is fine, that is except he is teething like a madman. It sucks. Gotta save Dh from his fussiness right now.

we are enjoying being snowbirds! we have been in sw florida for over a month now and won't return to ottawa until the 2nd wk of april. the weather hasn't been super hot but way better than up north, and warm enough for a few pool days

we are all feeling good and healthy - me especially - after the restrictions and bedrest and infection and illness, i am feeling well! and have had time to gain perspective and decide which of my 3 jobs i have to quit.

we seem to be the only ones who walk around here and also the only ones that puts a hat on our sons' heads! walk is a 4 letter word around here! but our walks everywhere are becoming noteworthy - at the grocery store we always get hellos from the staff and haven't seen you in a few days comments, lol!

callum is in love with his little brother and is always trying to play with him. it's beautiful! everett is a nurse-aholic these days which can be taxing but i know it won't be forever

Yay! I'm glad we seem to be making the transition over here. I love seeing all the pics of our growing babies. They are all so beautiful. Bridget will be four months on Sunday. Here are a few new pictures in her Valentine's Day garb!

arlene, we walk all over town when weather is nice and we've nearly been plowed down because there's no where safe to walk! i can't wait for our walks with millie!
