Hip Carry in a Mei Tai?

I had an Ellaroo Hip with my DD but I can not find it. Ds2 is almost one and I would like to be able to hip carry him a bit more - i use the ergo, and we have a mei tai - but I have only managed front and back in those -I found a site online with some pretty good instructions for hip carry in a mei tai and was just wondering if anyone else has had success that way?? If not - what would you recommend? I had a ring sling with DS1 ages ago but was never able to get real comfy with it......

I really like the Scootababy for hip carries. Yes, you can get a MT or SSC to work for a hip carry, but the Scootababy is much more comfy (the only downside is that you can only do hip carries with it).

The Scootababys look AMAZING!!!! i am fine with having something just for hip carry since we have the ergo and the mei tai for anything else - now i just need to pray for a tax return big enough to get a scootababy!!!!
