Any of you order whole grains online?

Just wondering what your sources are.

I usually order from thesproutpeople... but while they are good quality.. they are kind of expensive and also they are out of one grain that I need so I was looking elsewhere

I'm on the west coast, and we order from Azure Standard. They have drop points all along the coast at least once a month. I know they ship, but I've never looked into that price because we've always gotten free delivery to a group site. I grind my own grains and have been very happy with their quality.

I'm also looking into ordering online & I keep getting shipping quotes that are more than the the total cost of the grains. I wish I could find something reasonable on the east coast!

Cookie - I have a friend who orders from Breadbeckers.com - I think she said they're in GA? Don't recall.

If you are in the East, there is United Northeast coop. And there is Associated Buyers coop.

Does Azure Standard ship to the east?

When I was living in New York, I would get grain like wheat and rye, non gmo unsprayed from local amish farmers for 80 lbs for $10. Super Cheap!

I am in VT now and a local farmer grows a ton of stuff as well as makes yogurt:

We live in New York and the food buying club we belong to is UNFI, they have organic grains. Also, your local health food store can order in bulk for you and they usually will give a 20% or so discount from retail price.
