Differences between BFIAR & FIAR

For anyone who has used BFIAR and moved onto FIAR, how is FIAR different/more comprehensive? I'm just curious, for future reference. I know there are more "academic" areas focused on, the idea being you do one area per day... My big question is whether it gives more resources, like more tie-in books to read, than BFIAR does? (I'm using PWB more than BFIAR now, and I'm getting spoiled by all the great tie-in books it suggests!) Anyway if you have other input about how the two compare, that would be great, too

FIAR goes further in-depth, and the books are a bit longer than those in BFIAR. Those are really the 2 main differences I've noticed, they really are alot alike.

If you register for the FIAR forums, you gain access to their archives, which have tons of recommendations for supplemental books, activities, etc.

We are planning to use FIAR for kindergarten next year, and I think it's an incredibly rich curriculum with a lot of opportunities. I haven't used B4FIAR, but I have heard that it is much less "meaty."

Yeah, I wouldn't call BFIAR "meaty" or list it as a must-buy resource, unless a parent had no other books about/experience with how young children learn - though it's a great booklist, with titles DD requests over and over again, so I'm glad for it. And now PWB is just perfect until DD is old enough to want/need something more in-depth! I'm liking this lit-inspired groove we're in
