Does anyone recognize this poem?

I've been thinking about a poem that I read years ago, and I thought it was by either Gwendolyn Brooks or June Jordan.

There is a line that repeats a couple times in the poem that goes something like, "so hot, so hot, so hot, so what..."

Any other poetry geeks out there recognize it?
