mineral makeup

I use bare minerals but I'm concerned about the safety. A friend watched Dr. oz today and he was talking about mineral makeup and how unsafe it is to inhale. I can remember which ingredient she said was bad to inhale but I guess the particles are very small and get into your lung and eventually will cause some problems. I'm going to look into it some more.

Does anyone know anything about this?

I saw it too. I think it just makes sense that if you inhale particles it can be dangerous. I bet if you apply it and not breathe in you would be okay. Maybe put it on and move to another area while the particles settle. I like minerals makeup too but have not used it lately.

I only got to see part of this. Very interesting and it makes sense about powder makeups.

Yes this is exactly why I bought the creme solid mineral make up. I like chemical free but I don't want to inhale it! I found mine at Raesin Images. It's minerals bound with hemp oil.
