The corporate Blockbuster? I worked for Blockbuster for awhile, but for one of the franchises (the largest franchisee, actually). Those owners were Jewish.
I saw The Last Temptation of Christ many years ago and found it quite funny. But that is because my friend (who was and still is a devout Christian, but not a literalist) was cracking jokes. There was one point where Jesus threw down some seeds and fruit trees sprung up. My friend said, "Oh look, it's Jesus Appleseed." I guess you had to be there, but that cracked me up as my friend was not trying to be funny, he was voicing his disgust. He was upset by certain aspects of the film, and pointed out some of the heresies wherever he saw them.

He is Orthodox now, not Roman Catholic.
My main complaint with it, besides some of the accents (Brooklyn, Bronx? I dunno), was that Christ saw the kind of life he could have had, then saw the ramifications of that and made his choice accordingly. It was supposed to be uplifting because he chose to go to sacrifice himself for humanity, but he saw what would happen if he didn't. At least that was my interpretation, but it was sooooo long ago that I saw it.
