Am I on right track

I EC 17 mos DS since birth and use CD. It seems like DS can care less if he pees in diaper or any where in house. DS actually thinks its funny . I guess we go though phases and sometimes he signals but mostly its me knowing even with misses. We usually do good when out but when we are home DS too busy and even when I know he got to go he fights me. Even with potty in play area he wont stay on it and then pees minutes later. At night he wakes every two hours to pee so we usually have dry nights.

I guess getting a little frustrated cause if he wakes to pee at night why does he not care during day. Am I on right track? Please offer any suggestions or advice. I have no one in my life that ECs.

Hi, and welcome!!! My dd was exactly as you describe! For daytime, anyway, she refused to potty at night, too! Things got better around 17 months or so, actually. She's soon to be 22 months old, and FINALLY actually seems to care if she pees in her pants. It sounds like you're doing fine, hang in there!
