Am I clueless? Questions about BumGenius

I'm seeing a lot of complaints about the drying time for BumGenius, which is the AIO I plan to use the most...(besides some prefolds and a couple fitteds as well)

In my prewash day, as it's below freezing here and there was no way I was line drying outside, I put the BumGenius covers on AIR (no heat) and they were only slightly damp after the first run and quickly dried the rest of the way on their own, hanging. The directions say you can put the inserts in the dryer...and I did on the lowest setting for only about 20 minutes or so and then on air...they dried relatively quickly without a problem.....

So I'm wondering why the complaints? Is it just that it takes longer for those who dry on the line? I'm just wondering if I'm missing something...I've only been through the prewashing of course....not daily use!

If your diapers came w/ removable inserts what you have are pockets. Pockets do dry really fast.

the more layers together the longer drying time - all AIO's (all pieces sewn together) take a long time to dry (BG AIO included). There are some AIO (like the BG organic and sposo easy) that allow air to move around the 'soaker' piece in the middle and that helps to shorten the drying time sime.Dry time is one of the big reasons pockets are so popular

I'll primarily be using the BG Organic AIOs. In my prewashing of them, it took about 100-110 minutes in our front-load dryer for them to be completely dry.

Just wanted to echo the choir. If they have inserts, they're not AIOs. The BG AIOs take so freaking long to dry. Ugh.

OH OKAY.....I guess most of mine are the pockets...I guess I only have one that would be considered the AIO....it did take longer but was dry by the end of the day.... I guess if you don't have a lot of them it would get annoying waiting for them to dry if that was your only kind...well, thanks for the clarification!
