Just watched the trailer. I'm so glad that people are trying to get this info out into the mainstream!

looking forward to seeing it, hopefully in canada

if it releases to dvd, i'll definitely suggest the library system in ottawa buys it (they are pretty receptive to all natural parenting films - they have orgasmic birth etc in their collection and ask for suggestions from the public)

but would love to see it here. thanks for sharing the link. i have a lot of women i will be sharing this with!

It looks awesome! I'm glad they're getting this out there.

I'm curious to see this, though mostly to see how the film manifests. I do hope the focus is not on linking formula feeding to obesity.

I demanded it in my city - looks like 3 people had already done that in my area! I'm kinda shocked - go Alabama!

I did that part. It's the code here:
You've selected Cape Cod metro area. (change)
Formula Fed America needs the following info for your demand to count.

* Gender
* Year of birth
* mobile number (optional)
* Email address
* Enter this code

The part where it says "enter this code". I don't see a code anywhere
Sorry for the confusion

Yay! Can't wait to see it! 40 people from my city requested it... I have to send link to other mamas, 40 is nothing

Although formula feeding has been linked to childhood obesity as a factor the focus of the film is not on that. We hope to address the risks of not breastfeeding, our un supportive society (maternity leave, lack of insurance coverage for lactation services/pumps, pumping in the workplace, sexualization of breasts etc) and unethical marketing practices of infant formula companies among other things.

Our goal is to get people motivated to go out in to their communities and make a change to help turn things around and not make it so hard for a mother to succeed in breastfeeding. We would also love to see the day that there is an abundance of milk banks all over the country so the need for formula would cease to exist.

I wish there was a documentary coming out based on Milk Money and Madness. Im hoping this one addresses some of the issues form that book.

I think that (bolded) is great!

From the trailer, it seemed heavily focused on the link between formula feeding and obesity and IMO, there are far too many factors contributing to obesity to use that as the core of the film. I'm happy to hear it won't be. I look forward to seeing it.
