Ask and you shall receive! (another thrift store score)

This morning my oldest dd was crying because she said she couldn't find any jeans that fit. She's in between sizes 8 and 10. She found a pair of size tens to wear, and they were fine with a belt. I got out of school early so I decided to stop by our local thrift shop with my extra time. I found 3 pairs of size 10 jeans, and 2 belts, all a quarter each! I'm so excited, I did not want to buy new jeans retail as I'm planning on spending some money next week for their spring/summer stuff at a huge consignment sale.

Earlier this week DH walked in the house after a short walk with six pairs of pants for DS1 (who is very, very hard on clothes). I asked him where they came from and our neighbor (the mom of one of DS best friends) gave them to him because they didn't fit her DS any longer. They fit DS just fine and he was pleased as can be.

Got to love the thrift stores.... I know i do too. It's always so great when you can find great items at such an affordable cost.

We just moved this past Saturday and already have a huge list of things that we need in the new place. I went searching today for an hour, hit 3 stores, and found a few of the items on my list already!
