Underwire Maternity Swim Suits for Large Breasted Mama

I really want to go swimming this summer, but I have very large breasts and I am going to be very pregnant. I cannot wear a suit without an underwire, it is like, impossible, but I cannot find a maternity suit with an underwire. Does anyone have any suggestions or links?

I am not talking D or DD, I am talking G (right now) possibly bigger by that point of my pregnancy. I tried last summer to find a normal suit, but the cups are never big enough, which leaves me leaking out the side and bottoms. Not only in an uncomfortable way, but in a "Wow lady, cover up" way.

hmmm...what's your body type besides your breasts? maybe you could go with a plus-size suit (like Lane Bryant or Land's End or something)...they tend to have better support/structure on top, and the extra length/fabric should accomodate your belly.

Or maybe decent exposures....they have some swimwear, but I'm not sure about maternity. But their swimwear is designed so you can wear their bras underneath, so that might help...

I have only worn Miracle Suits since I was like 18, and before that I didnt wear a suit for like 6 years because none fit my breasts. I blew up in size for a spell and plus size suits never worked, because they were still flimsy like regular suits, just bigger. I am more hour glass, but with a little tummy. Big boobs, I have a waist (it just has some pudge on the front) and hips. My ribs measure pretty small, which actually makes me hard to fit. My bra people told me if I kept losing weight they were really going to have trouble finding cups that fit me with small enough band sizes.

You have made me think though... I was able to find a plus size miracle suit when I was larger. I still have that suit and actually wore it last summer. It had a little room but I dont think it will be able to strech for pregnancy...although I did have to take the straps up last summer, so if it did work, it would allow for breast growth. Maybe I should go check the strech on the fabric before I start going too crazy. I needed a new suit this last summer but just kept wearing my old one because miracle suits are like $130.

I absolutely love the stuff from Bravissimo! Their sizing goes by bra size, instead of regular sizing.

I believe their sizes go up to like a J or K or something like that. Good luck!!

I'm in the same pickle...I think I'm a I or J cup now after a few months of pg! And I don't want to pay tons of money. Good luck, huh?

Oh! I was just going to post this! I bought an XL suit from Motherwear, which fit fine- except that the bust was not even close to containing my magnificent boobage! Lol! Seriously, I was like, "well, it covers my nipples..." Sigh.

People don't understand how hard it is to have giant boobs!!

I may have a bit of good news for my situation. I think my old suit is gonna stretch just fine. I stuffed a sweat shirt down in the front and puffed out my stomach and it was fine. The only place it pulled was in the shoulders, so probably, if I wait till summer, I will just need to let out the straps from sewing them up last year. I think the only thing I might need is a new pair of swim shorts, depending on what my hips are like by then. I never go without swim shorts, my thighs are the worst!

So, maybe some of you who are in the same position as me could look for a larger sized underwire miracle suit. It's an idea. The downside being they are pricey, but someone could always check ebay.

I hope this idea works, because it will be super easy and very inexpensive. Finally, a benefit to having been obese in the past.

Hopefully one of these links will be helpful for you. or maybe someone will come up with something else. If my old bigger sized suit [see previous post] doesnt work, then I think I will wear my decent exposures bra under a tee shirt or something. I never wear the decent exposures bra, it makes my boobs feel funny, but I wouldnt have to worry about ruining the fabric too much.

I ended up getting a non-maternity plus sized suit. There was enough stretch that it fit over my belly, while still providing the giant cup support I needed. I had to try on about 100 to find one, but still....
