We eat a traditional foods diet and have for many years as I was primarily raised on this type of diet even though we didn't have a name for it. However, once TTC our first child I was dx'd with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I am now TTC #2 with the help of a fertility specialist but also researching food that help with fertility and pregnancy. I am pretty close to the Weston Price diet for pregnancy but I do not like fish like tuna, salmon, roe, etc at all. I've tried to eat it, I've tried many, many different recipes and no I just cannot stand the taste of fish. I am taking Nordic Naturals Cod Liver Oil (Dr actually prescribed it to me years ago if you can believe that). My question is am I getting what I need from the Cod Liver Oil alone? I do eat wild caught shrimp from the Gulf (we live in the deep south) & crab when it is in season but this is more like a bi-monthly thing. I just want to make sure I am getting enough Omega 3 and I'm afraid I am not.
