I found this ad on craigslist. I am due in April I have smaller babies 5lbs and this will be my first time cloth diapering. I also want to buy disposable liners to use in the beginning do they work with any cover my local store sells g diapers and g liners. Thanks so much! Jessica

I have around 18 GMD unbleached indian prefolds, see information at www.greenmountaindiapers.com and I have around 9 covers, all are in good used condition, maybe a few small stains that should sun out. In the covers i have a pink bummis super brite, bummis andy pandy (retired and HTF), some thirsites in aqua, butter, white, lilac, and teal. some custom covers from cloth dreams in mad sky heart print (pink and brown hearts) and purple ooga booga, you can see her work at www.hyenacart.com/clothdreams. I have one olive jane cover that is pink starling print-she is an etsy mom. All covers are velcro closing. These were just used for a few weeks. I'd like to sell them all together. I paid about $175 for all of it and I will let it go for $40.00 cash and local pick up. If you are looking to cloth diaper your newborn or small infant this is a steal, you could resell it all on diaperswappers.com for way more, we are moving and I just need to let it go to someone for cheap. I have some medium/medium long/ and large boyish covers also, most from www.hyenacart.com/fishnoodles and www.hyencart.com/dunk-n-fluff, all custom made, snapping, and cost me a fortuen, I think i have 10 covers in those size ranges that I will let go for $50.00 for all, I will also put a seperate post up for that, Email using link above.

It wasn't clear to me - what size are the prefolds? If they're orange edge they should be fine for a small newborn, but if they're yellow edge (the GMD infant size) they will be way too big. You could still get them if they're yellow edge but I'd get some preemie prefolds for the beginning since you're expecting a tiny babe.

That's a great idea. my dd was in preemie clothes for over almost two months so it would be worth it to get preemie prefolds. I will see if what color they are when she calls me. Thank you

If you have 5 lb babies I agree you need orange stitch GMD prefolds and your covers should be 1/2 preemie and 1/2 newborn. YOu wont be getting into 'smalls' til around 11+ lbs depending on brand.

I used preemie pfs for 4 mo and my kids were both over 9 lbs at birth.
