Sour milk and soft furnishings

So my 3 mo old is a spitter. What can I use to get sour milk smell out of pillows, the couch, our mattress? I sprinkle baking soda on the floorboards then vaccuum on the theory that it will neutralize acids. The obvious choice to get rid of odors seems like vinegar, but it is also an acid so I'm not sure it will work.

I have a carpet shampooer with an apholstry/hose attachment. I use it to clean those kind of messes from the couch, carpets, mattresses. Pillows, I throw in the washer and dryer - if they get ruined, I replace them.

Try spraying it with BacOut.
