Websites for 6-7 year olds?

It seems like DS is getting bored with all his website options, like pbskids.org and Nick. What other websites do kids this age visit? I'd love some more non-commercial options, but that may be a pipedream, huh?

Check out kidzui.com. It's a browser just for kids that has only age-approrpriate content, but TONS of it, from commercial and non-commercial sources. You might not like it but it might be worth a look to see.

My 6yo dd is currently obsessed with handipoints.com lol. Its great b/c she will definitely get all her chores done for the day, but she's so obsessed with her cat and buying clothes for her cat and buying furniture for her cat, etc that I have to limit her time on the computer.

Have you checked out the games at PBS Kids Go. Those are for older kids, and DS1 (6) likes the Word Girl and Cyberchase games.
