Recipe for DIY bubblebath for bubble-obsessed toddler?

My 2 yo son can NOT be convinced to enter a bath that has no bubbles. Even then it's a struggle, so I'm desperate for a solution that does not include buying lots of plastic bottles of natural but commerical stuff at the health food store. We use lots of bubbles for each attempt at bathing, and he's most likely to participate if I let him hold the bottle = dump it all out, and make a total froth storm.

Any recipes out there?

I mix my shampoo (AFM Safechoice, which I buy in bulk) with glycerin in a 1:1 ratio. It doesn't take much at all to make tons of bubbles. You can also make your own with equal amounts grated soap and glycerin, plus enough water to dilute.

We use whatever "soap" we have that we are trying to use up. Shampoo is particularly easy and frothy. Body wash works just as well, too. I recommend making your own by diluting whatever you want and using small bottles, so DS can dump it all and be excited to hop on in!
