How do you give your lo hylands teething tablets?

So ds (8 mo) has just been awful at night these last two weeks. He has also been super cleangy and fussy. Last night I broke down and gave him some infants Tylenol at about 2:30 am. He finally calmed down and nursed then slept from 3 am until 6:30 am!!!!! So, I think his terrible sleep can be attributed to teething, but I don't want to give him a bunch of Tylenol. I got some hylands teething tablets, but I am unsure of how to give them to him. Do you mamas dissolve them in water or put them under your lo's tounge?
Thanks!

Under the tongue didn't work for me. I just put them in her mouth. They dissolve really quickly. And still seem to work.

I try to put them under the tongue, but they rarely stay there. I usually have to keep my finger in his mouth until they're dissolved.

We acted very excited about them, and mimicked eating them ourselves, and this made DD very interested. She just picks them out of hour hand and puts them into her mouth, where they dissolve. She did this starting from ten months or so. Good luck!

What all the pp's said... they dissolve pretty quickly and can be held on the tongue by you if baby is having a hard time with them. My 14mo happily puts them in her mouth herself.

I usually ended up dissolving them between the bottom teeth and lip. They take seconds to dissolve.

I try to stick them under her tongue, but she just ends up moving her tongue around and trying to chew them anyway. They must taste ok, because she doesn't spit them out! Hope they help your LO!

Your baby's a little older than mine but what works for us with the homeopathic remedies is to stick the tablet in her cheek and let it dissolve. The hylands tablets are made to dissolve very quickly too so you don't have to worry a out them spitting it out. Another thing to consider, with homeopathic tablets the medicine is coated on the outside so try to handle them as little as possible and let your baby suck your fingers after administering.

my LO loves them. He opens his mouth when my hand is coming at him and he kindof gums them. It's hysterical to watch. And he's done this since 3.5months. No problem with spitting them out at all -- they dissolve so quickly anyway.

Same here. DD loves them and reaches her mouth out for them. Go figure she hates solid food, but Hyland's, she loves. I can sometimes get them under her tongue.
