My DD sat all by herself!!!!!!

OK, for those of you who don't know our story, DD was developmentally appropriate until4 months old, when she stopped breathing at day care. They were able to revive her, but she has a profound anoxic brain injury, a trach an g-tube, and marked dev. delays.

Today during PT she was able to support herself in a sitting position for 35 sec. She has never been able to sit unassisted. I am so happy, I just wanted to share our new inchstone with everyone.

That is terrific. My mildly hypotonic DD wasn't sitting up by herself at that age. We actually had portraits done at 9 months and I remember I had to crouch behind her and hold her up for her solo shots through the black cloth. It sounds like your DD is coming along great.
