Waiting years & Manifesting years

Hi, I was just looking into the treasure mapping thread and had a related question. Can someone please elaborate on "waiting" years and "manifesting" years?

i'm sorry nobody answered this yet. maybe someone did in the tm thread, but i didn't see a response there.

i don't think it's official terminology or anything - just people describing their experiences. like, if nothing much happened in '08, but things fell into place in '09, then '08 was a "waiting" year and '09 was a "manifesting" year. calling '08 a waiting year is maybe a healthier way to look at it, rather than saying it was a failure, or that your tm didn't work. it's a way of having faith that just because something hasn't happened yet, that doesn't mean it won't.

Thank you so much for your explanation doubledutch. It helped me a lot.

I like the idea of thinking of what I used to term "nonproductive" years as "waiting" years. There is a big difference.

Thank you

I tend to think of it a "preparation"... maybe it doesn't look like anything is happening, but just like the seed beneath the soil there's a lot of necessary work going on.

And I also agree with the idea that a person may not have enough "oomph" for everything on their map. Like, if you put a new house a new car a new baby an island cruise and a big garden on your map you may manifest it all. But probably not. You may manifest everything in smaller ways (your current house comes to reflect the image you selected for a new house, you do get a new car but not off the lot, you become a godmother/honorary aunt to a friend's baby, you do take a cruise but it's on a local lake, and you join a community garden so you have a huge garden but are only in charge of a smaller portion) or perhaps manifest one or two things completely while the others wait (you buy the dream house and discover you're pregnant, and realize that a cruise would make you seasick, your new house is next to public transportation so you don't need another car, and there's a local farmer's market that replaces the garden while you're pregnant and tired).

Anyway, if you have a ton of "big items" on your map you may find that it takes longer... maybe two maps, or three... for everything to manifest. And then looking back you see how it was happening all along but you couldn't see it then (just like that seed, finally bursting forth and flowering after weeks or months of "nothing").
