Kelly Park, aka Rock Springs is in the area and has a natural spring fed river that you can tube down with the kids. It's nice and slow, nothing scary. But watch out for yellow flies...only thing keeping me from going back. Wekiva Springs and Blue Springs are great, but the water is cold. Fun though. I like Blue Springs better personally.
