I don't believe the 50/50 thing is correct either. What's the chance of M/C in any given pregnancy anyway? Most women I know who have had M/C (and multiple M/C at that) did NOT have bleeding as their first sign. Some had severe cramps...others had no idea until a checkup with no heartbeat.

I bled with both in the first trimester, have 1 living and still pregnant with the other.
