favorite toddler meals (for the whole family)

I'm in a rut! I wouldn't call dc picky but they do like to eat the same thing over and over and have developed strong likes and dislikes. I need something new to make and eat. What does your toddler enjoy for meals?

Mine like
-pasta w/ olive oil, garlic, herbs, parmesan and veggies
-grilled sandwiches/quesadilas (sp?)
-fried rice
-turkey burgers w/ homemade french fries
-stir fries
-spaghetti pie (but not spaghetti!)

My toddler LOVES salmon cakes. The first time I made them we had a little fight about them.

"These are salmon cakes."
"No, cookies."
"No, they're cakes."
"No, they cookies."

Then I realized this really wasn't worth resisting! LOL. She loves them, though. I make them with blueberry sauce.

We eat a lot of the same things, rotated throughout the week

DD loves homemade soups [veggie, chicken noodle]
Grilled cheese sandwiches/apple slices
Sunflower butter on toast or a baguette
YOGURT YOGURT YOGURT with granola
Well, really any kind of sandwich: cream cheese/cucumbers, jam and some sort of butter, turkey and cheese...the list goes on.
Veggies and "dip"
Flaxseed crackers with Swiss cheese

Our meals are mostly picking throughout the day, I like it that way

We eat a lot of different soups, veggie and potato are both big hits. He also loves humus and crackers, apple slices with or without pb, whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce or cheese on it, ground turkey in various forms, chicken, some kinds of fish, mashed potatoes, cheese sticks, tacos with rice and beans. He's not a great veggie eater, which is why i serve soup of some kind about twice a week, it's the only way i can sneak veggies past him!

DS loves cheese pizza --not the greatest, but at least it is homemade--and rice with butter. I try to give him brown rice most of the time.

how could i forget pizza!? I make it a couple times a month, everyone here loves it!

I LOVE homemade soup. I cook up a big pot on the weekend and we nosh away at it all week long. I'll heat it up on the stove, pull out mostly just solids for DS, and then throw an ice cube in to cool it down. We just polished off a batch of chicken noodle; next week I think the plan is for either salmon soup or vegetable soup.

my toddlers are 18 months old, and our best stand-by meal is sliced polenta with marinara. they won't touch a lot of pasta, and routinely refuse new foods.

I have pretty severe food allergies so the foods we eat all revolve around my allergies. That being said, I can eat most beans and DD will eat anything with beans. Great Northern beans in Ham and Bean Soup, Black beans in a casserole of ground meat and quinoa pasta, chick peas with anything, and homemade baked beans with butter beans are just a few of our different bean dishes that DD loves.

Breakfast for dinner is always good. DD loves all breakfast foods. I can't eat eggs but DD and DH eat them together. I have a good eggless buckwheat pancake recipe that we make with fruit on top and with sausage or bacon makes a pretty good meal. DD loves sausage and bacon!

DD loves spaghetti with ground turkey sauce and a cheesy hamburger macaroni (I mix cooked whole wheat macaroni noodles with cooked ground turkey seasoned with turmeric and cumin and frozen mixed veggies and cheese). We also eat a lot of grilled cheese for lunch because she loves it.

DD loves roast chicken, steak, pork chops or just about any meat (we only eat it about 2-3 times a week and she can't get enough of it). Rounded out with roasted potato or sweet potato and some sort of green vegetable and it's toddler dinner heaven here.
She's also quite fond of Mexican fare--tacos, quesadillas, enchilladas (we do them vegetarian here).
Breakfast is usually a big hit--she'll eat lots of oatmeal (topped with frozen blueberries), bacon (again with with meat!) and pancakes, anything that can be covered in cream cheese.
We also do a fair amount of savory pies--quiches, spanakopita, etc.

DS loves crepes, he could it them everyday. In fact, each time I have to make sure he eats well( before preschool for example) I make them. Crepes can be made in lots of different ways, for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner and they are sooo easy

My DS won't touch any pasta, pizza, rice. He adores steak medium rare, lol, and roasted chicken with plenty of garlic and herbs.
We also do a lot of stews. He loves the tender chunks of meat. Also he'll tend to snub most vegetables but he'll eat them if they're in a stew. He must like how soft they are and how they take on the flavor of the broth and herbs.

Chicken Pot Pie with a biscuit crust is a huge favorite here. Also Shepard's Pie. All those casseroles that have small chunks of meat, potatoes, and veggies.

Soups are a huge hit in my house, I make at least 2 a week in the winter, all different. Could be vegetarian or ground turkey or chicken, all with lots of veggies, all of my kids have always loved chili so I make a pot every other week as well.

DD (16 mths) loves:

Scrambled eggs on wholewheat toast (she has this for breakfast every day)
Homemade waffles
Sweet potato oven fries (homemade - tossed in olive oil then roasted)
Baked beans on toast
Brie and cracker or just brie by itself
homemade pate
Wholewheat tortilla rollups - rolled up with garlic cream cheese, hummus etc inside
Homemade mac and cheese - wholewheat macaroni, cheesy bechamel, cooked ground beef, broccoli, then baked
Roasted Beets
Leek and Potato soup

TACOS! This is my go-to meal when DD is really picky and won't eat anything else. I throw some chicken breasts in the crockpot, with some salsa and a packet of taco seasoning and maybe a can of black beans, then let them slow-cook all day. Shred the chicken and eat when I get home in the evening! DD loves hers in a crunchy taco shell, with cheese and sour cream.

Our 2 year old will try just about anything but won't eat a lot. Some of our favourites:

*roast chicken (a large one is dinner Sunday night, then pot pie on monday and soup on tuesday)
*pasta with cottage cheese and green peas
*broccoli and soft tofu cubes
*any firm white fish cooked in tomates/onions/garlic served with rice
*rice pasta and tomato sauce (sometimes with spinach), with or without beans

Frittatas are our go-to dinner. It's an omelette that you start on the stovetop then finish under the broiler so it's all puffy. DS snubs most green veggies but will eat tonnes of spinach and feta frittatta.
Meatballs are a big hit, too.
