To help me wait

Maybe searching FSOT over on thebabywearer and getting a new carrier will help me wait for my birthing time Of course I don't 'need' any new carriers.

Did you end up buying anything?? I have a pouch sling, a wrap & a mei tai...
i need another carrier like a hole in my head, but really covet a fancy wrap with brocade or something.

All I have is a ring sling, but it served me well with my first son. I have my fingers crossed that this guy will take to it just as well. Of course, if not, then I have an excuse to find something else. It doesn't work for my partner, size-wise, but we've decided to wait until our baby's here to go shopping for one that fits them both.

It would be much more fun to do some online browsing/shopping, but I'm working on getting ahead on some coursework right now.

DH made a comment that I have about $1000 invested in carriers; I let him know that I am no where near that amount, but I'll take that as an okay to reach that amount. heh.

Yeah, I try not to answer the ? of how many carriers I have. I do mostly make my own mei tai's and pods...so I only invest in wraps because I can't make those. I'm not having much luck on TBW FSOT, nothing is interesting to me....that's so rare.

My friend made me a ring sling and I cannot get the hang of it - Finn just ends up in a lump at the bottom of it. Thoughts?

Corbin lived in a mei tai, but Finn is having none of that. I soooo can't have a kid that won't go in a sling. How is that even possible to get stuff done?!

This baby may end up being completely different, but with my first son, he started out by laying along the curve. He seemed very secure and happy like that. I could breastfeed him in that position.

It was a while before I used a more upright hold.

Finally decided, I'm getting an ocean bara barn. So a new shorty - I'm determined to master more rebozo length carries with this baby.

This is how I wear Sophie in the ring sling. I have an UpMama sling which I really like but it was a bit short to begin with and then my dh washed and dried it so now it's pretty darn short. I want a long one like in that video posted.

I want a new soft structured carrier like the toddler hawk or somethign similar. I have a stretchy wrap but I get annoyed at how long it takes to put on and I only like to put it on at home so it doesn't touch the ground.
