Hey......I keep thinking there was something in single parenting about homeschooling awhile back. Not for sure if there's one here in the homeschooling part. Does that make sense? LOL

Anyway, we've always homeschooled. What about you?

I don't know if there is a single parents homeschooling thread but I am a single homeschooling parent! Would love to talk to others!

I put in single and homeschooling in the search bar on here and found something that might be useful. On the 2nd page, there's a thread called Homeschooling as a single mom? It was started by alacrity 12-28-2009. There were 16 responses I believe. I hope that helps........

For us, it's never been easy being single, working and homeschooling.....but I can't imagine anything else. We've had our rough spots. I believe my girl has dsylexia a bit....and she really struggled with reading and spelling. Still sometimes does. And my son had a speech problem and had to go to therapy for years and has Tourette's Syndrome. So it kinda put us behind some. We never had a support system or anything. That's something that I do regret. I think it would have been enjoyable and fun if I had people like that around.

How does everyone else manage it all? pros/cons

I think this might be the thread you're looking for.... but we can certainly start a new one, too.
