I have been taking DS to the pool off and on since he was an infant, and lately we have been going once a week and today at the Y, he swam without any flotation or assistance from me! He actually swam the entire width of the pool with only three tiny "breaks" where he turned back to me and clung to me for a brief second before going back at it.
