I make my own soap and grate it up to make laundry soap (add borax and washing soda) and dish soap (add hot water and mix 'til i drop), and i'm out of the basics--coconut, palm...i have a little olive, but i'd rather use it for cooking.
So my question is, can you make soap out of any of the following:
Shea Butter
Sweet almond oil
Hazelnut oil
Jojoba oil
Cocoa butter
Beeswax
(I used to make all kinds of bath products before i had kids, so that's why i have this stuff on hand.)
I really don't care about the quality of the soap, only that it IS soap and becomes hard enough to grate.
Thanks!

But you could probably find a recipe for the other ingredients. Check out thedishforum.com -- you'll need to register, but there is a ton of info there.
