I understand the feeling of wanting a mommy and not just a mother. I know when I look at my little kids, dancing with delight at something that my "mother" never appreciated that moment the way a "mommy" would have.

I can relate to your post, mama. I have a father but not a "Daddy" too. It has been hard but I'm working through resigning myself to the fact that he never was and never would be what I needed.
