The Adopting from Haiti thread has been removed after careful review. There was a great deal of terrific information in that thread, however, the thread had lost course and was not in keeping with the User Agreement which includes ....

Secondarily, though it is possible to discuss news events that are in direct connection to a forum topic, the thread had veered away from the purpose of the Adoptive and Foster Parenting purpose, which is:

Welcome to the Adoption forum. This forum was set up to meet the needs of and provide support to adoptive (and foster) parents who wish to practice NFL parenting. Parenting an adopted/foster child comes with many rewards and challenges that are unique to your family. This forum is a place to discuss these issues with like minded members. The forum is open to all members and we encourage everyone to share and join in the discussions. Though in doing so, please be respectful of the forums purpose and the feelings of all our members.

We no longer split up threads and I can't see how to salvage the thread without removing half of it. I apologize that the thread can't be salvaged.
