Here is what I ate yesterday, which was a fairly normal day for me, eating wise...
Breakfast: 2 eggs (with butter), small sausage patty of good sausage from the farmer's market, milk and coffee w/ coconut oil
Lunch- 1 scoop of curried chicken salad (my recipe a friend made at her house, with store mayo not lacto-fermented like I use), some low-carb crackers with cream cheese (b/c I was on the go, I found some compromise crackers until I can try a truly grain-free cracker recipe), a pear
Dinner- about 1 cup of a mixture of Italian Sausage & roasted peppers & onions, a small serving of leftover potatoes with butter...
id starve! just kidding but i would be hungry and im a fairly small sized person. i know snacking is probably a sign of not having a perfectly functioning metabolism and having insulin resistence, but i do snack.
here's what i ate today, andmind you i am nursing an older baby, AND i am below my pre-pregnancy weight, and seem to still be losing. cant complain!-
b: custard made of 4 egg yolks, 1/2 c. cream, 1/4 c whole milk, 1 tsp sugar.
espresso and more cream.
lunch- kombucha, 1/4 c red beans, maybe 2 oz spare ribs, an oz or so feta cheese, a couple pieces 80% dark chocolate
snack- chedder cheese- 2 oz or so, some double cream brie cheese, half an orange, a handfulof cashews
dinner- at least 2 cups rich chicken stew with homemade broth, kale, sweet potatoes, carrots,onions ect. more cheese
snack- irish chedder and a couple rice crackers (yeah clearly rice is a grain,oops)
totally un-grain free cookies made by my mom, i just could not pass em up.
