Drinking apple cider vinegar

Thread Starter
I've heard so much lately about how healthy it is. Seems most people drink about 2t. in 8oz. water, and it seems that water is important, as most "recipes" call for it. But i'd rather do shots--more tolerable than drinking a glass of vinegar water. Does anybody know if there's a disadvantage to drinking ACV in shots rather than diluted?

I read it can burn you Esophagus (sp?) if you do not dilute. I use it to make salad dressings and have also done it for periods w water or water and coconut oil. Good luck.

I've been taking a couple of teaspoons of acv with a not quite equal amount of honey in a 6oz glass of water. It's just one of those small juice glasses so it goes down quickly; using the honey it also doesn't taste too bad(sort of like lemonade but slightly "off")....it's much more tolerable for me this way than when I tried to take "shots" of acv
