WWYD Re: kids new ped and vax exemptions?

After doing our research we decided that for our purposes selective and delayed vaccinations were the way to go. Our old pediatrician was/is supportive of this, so my son is not 100% vaxed. We have recently moved from the state and are looking for a new pediatrician for my son who is starting to attend preschool. The preschool (and public school here apparently) wants us to fill out and have our kid's pediatrician fill out this Universal Healthcare form.

NJ is an all or nothing state and only allows for religious exemptions. We've already got our religious exemption letter and my son is accepted until May of this year since they know we are in between doctors having just moved. However, in the fall we need to have a new doctor fill out the form.

Its really important to me to make our own vaccination decisions and not have to go by the mandates. We are only an hour away from our kid's old pediatrician and what I'm thinking of doing is getting the kids a no-vax doctor out here, telling them we do not vaccinate at all so the records we give are from the new doctor showing they are not vaccinated at all, and go to our old doctor when we want the kids to have a certain vaccine.

Does that sound like an okay plan? Any suggestions? I'm just trying to make sure I'll always have the right to decide what is medically best for my own kids.

Does the state where your son was previously vaxxed have a vaccine registry? If so, have you opted out?

My understanding was that the eventual goal of the state registries was to have them linked, so that any medical professional or school could have access the vaccine records. If your old state has a vaccine registry and you haven't opted out, I would try to find out who has access to those records.

I've never heard of that before. It appears the NYC did have a vaccine registry and it was required that his vaccines be reported, but I'm thinking we'll cross that bridge when we come to it?

If NJ has a registry, it may be better to go to another state for vaccines.

I'm not sure if this is useful to you or not, but I've never heard of the registry "doing in" a selective vaxer before. My impression is that the schools don't have access to it or something? Or the "exemption board" or whatever doesn't?
