Which cheese...

Thread Starter
would you buy if you had the choice, raw but non-organic, or pasturized organic? I've been buying Organic Valley raw cheese to eat as a snack, and pasturized organic cheese from Trader Joe's for grilled cheese/heated foods, but I've noticed TJ's has gotten several 'raw' cheeses recently (none of which are organic, but are cheaper than OV). I like the benefits of raw, but don't want the pesticides/growth hormones that come with it not being organic. Which would you pick (or would you just stick with the Organic Valley stuff)?

(On a side note, I should add that after reading through the other raw cheese thread, I'm not sure how truly 'raw' any of these cheeses really are, if that makes a difference...)

Thanks!

for that alone, it's the reason we ONLY do ORGANIC

Does it say it's hormone free? I definitely don't eat only organic dairy, however I do only eat hormone free dairy. if so, then the TJ sounds like a good choice for raw.
