Nursing in a carrier possible? (large chest)

Just wondering if any of the busty moms out there have been successful nursing while babywearing? If so, any tips? I never really tried with my first son, but I can imagine how convenient it might be now that I have a newborn... However I feel like nursing is more difficult when you are larger in general, let alone in a carrier... (I'm currently in the Bravado original E-G cup 38 band to give you an idea...). Thanks!

I had the easiest time with my maya wrap ring sling. It wasn't affected by my breast size. And i could cover myself with the tail even when I had to help my little one a little.

A lot depends on your breast shape and nipple anatomy too. I had large breasts (UK 36H-J during nursing) and in addition i have round, pendulous breasts with flat nipples. Until DD was 4 or 5 months old she just wasn't strong enough to form my nipple in her mouth with the whole weight of it hanging down (because the weight of course tended to flatten my nipples even more). When she was new i had to hold the suckled breast and supoort it a bit back from the nipple to help her out. By the time she was 5 or 6 months i could feed her in the kari-me (like a maya) but i still had to support the suckled breast. In saying that i can remember walking 5 miles one day, feeding her the whole time, it wasn't much of a problem to slip my hand in the side of the wrap and support the breast.

I did eventually manage to feed her without supporting my breasts, but by then i was losing supply (and breast size) so that was a major factor.

ETA- i always envied those bras which just have a window for the nipple - i'm sure that would have helped me out a bunch with the "forming" the nipple problem.
