I love this little hat and it's only the second thing I've knit from a pattern . It's much to small for my DDs noggin so I'm not sure who (or if) I will gift it to, I'm always so self conscious about things I make.

I made the same one in the last month and it fits no one I know! I wish I knew how to make it larger (the pattern) so I could knit one up for my 2 year old! Yours is adorable!

Disclaimer- I have not done this yet....

But how about sizing it up using bigger yarn and needles. I think I am going to knit one on 4s and worsted and it will be bound to fit one in my tribe.
