TF & swelling during pregnancy

Thread Starter
Posting this here because I'd like a TF perspective.

I'm newly pregnant with my third and, while I know it's a "normal" part of pregnancy, I've been experiencing some swelling/water retention quite a bit, and I'm not sure how to deal with it.

I don't have high blood pressure. I don't eat excessive salt, but I imagine that this isn't really all that normal, and that it probably suggests that my body is trying to compensate for something. I'd like to know what can help, what I should focus on eating--I didn't have this with my other two!!

Please help. Any insight?

My last pregnancy was my first TF one, and I found that my swelling reduced with larger amounts of CLO, fish oil and protein. The CLO and fish oil in particular seemed to make a difference -- I had slacked off on them a bit because I couldn't stomach them for a while.

My swelling was at the end of my pregnancy, though -- does it mean something different at the beginning?

I ate higher protein for both pregnancies and had almost no swelling with both (even with my summer baby). I did the Brewer diet with #1 and TF paleo-ish with #2.
