So, I still wear my DD on a daily basis. I wear her to her preschool, which is about a 7 minute walk, but when DD is walking it takes about 20 minutes. It works well for us, but I think sometimes people are giving me strange looks and really believe she is too old.
She is a big 3 year old....recently had a growth spurt and weighs about 36lbs and is 40 inches tall, but I am still very comfortable with her in a back carry....and I am a petite woman! I prefer my Ergo over the Toddler Patapum that I have, but recently made the switch to the Patapum due to the extra length it has on the torso (I undid some of the straps so that it is structure like the Ergo - otherwise it was too difficult to thread DD's feet through the extra straps, not to mention that is was not as comfortable).
So....please tell me I am not the only one who still carries there non-babe!

But here's the thing, I don't have a car. I walk to about 95% of the places we go and it is a PITA to take the stroller on the bus or subway. So, until DD can pick up the pace on foot, or my back can't take it anymore, she's going to be attached to me.
