The Fabulous ONE Thread!!!! **Feb. 7th-13th** - Page 3

jenger & miriam_bat_avraham~~Thanks ladies....and this is what the doctor had to say before we left his office this morning:

I still have a lot of fluid built up but he feels like i'm going to be able to absorb it...it just might take a little longer. Then said that if i do end up pregnant it will take longer for these symptoms to go away and they might get worse. Then said we'll have to wait on the blood work to see when I need to come back. They were still measuring really large follicles on the screen which was freaking me out because I thought all of them had ruptured...but i guess not. There were like 4 or 5 left that were 33mm each. We'll see what the doctor says when the nurse calls back this afternoon though. It would be wonderful if they drew a Hcg test and said i need to come back for a re-draw this week!!! And I agree with Jenger...i would LOVE to have twins because they would actually let me carry them...it's the more that two i'm worried about!!!!

stellamia - Congratulations mama!!

Dana_305 - keeping my fingers crossed that this is actually a GOOD sign!

Tanikit - that's awesome! I feel the same way - last month my LP was 5 days! I know my body is still wonky b/c we are bf'ing, but 5 days?! Come on!

jenger - no advice, but I hope you get pg before having to go through all of the hassle of testing.

KingsDaughter - so exciting!! Holding my breath for you!!

afm - 9DPO, this is the WORST part of the 2WW! FF says I should start on CD11, test on CD12. Pfft. 3 more days of waiting?! If my temp is above 98.1 anytime in the next 3 days, I'm testing.

Noon test results-

Held pee for 4 hours with no drinking of fluids.

Took Answer test- got a BFP although still light- but appears to be a smidge darker than yesterdays and definitally darker than this mornings...Also took another IC and finally got a definite although very faint second line on it- so far they had all been BFN. SO I am thinking that I am probably pregnant and will just watch and see how the next few days and tests go. I went ahead and told my DH and showed him the Answer test and he is THRILLED! :-)

I still won't totally get happy and celebrate till I get a + on a Digi!

Jenger... Awww, thanks for remembering me. The boyfriend I previously wrote about is already gone. Men are... Never mind.

I'm going to continue dating and see if anything sparks. My problem is that I'm too blasted trusting and believe all of the sweet talk. I should know better, but I don't actually have that much dating experience.

I think I've had night Os before, so very possible! I'll keep my toes crossed for you.

Stellamia and KingsDaughter76... Congratulations!!!

Bricholle1214... Ohhhhhhhh!!!! I am really hoping for you!!!!

Everybody have a Reproductive Week!!

stevi~Thank you so much! It's 320 in the afternoon here and the nurse STILL hasn't called me back yet!! I'm starting to pace the floors at my house and my 6 yo dd is looking at me like i'm crazy lol. I still feel nausious but hopefully it won't go all the way to getting sick! I hate feeling like this!!! But i'll take the symptoms for another month or 2 if i could just get a BFP on a test either at home or with the doctor's office!!! They did tell me something they hadn't told me the other day....looks like i started Oing some of the follies on wed...then continued to O the rest of them on thursday and friday! I was like WTC!!! I guess that puts me at 6dpo instead of like 3 or 4 like i thought...BLAH!!! I wish the RE would give me all of this information at one time! That would be WONDERFUL!!!

LOL, thanks for the good thoughts but there is NO WAY the delay in AF's arrival is due to a little sticky bean, unless you're a firm believer in non-divine immaculate conception. And not mention, I would have some serious 'splaining to do to my DP. I'm kinda hoping that this is just a little increase in my luteal phase due to the vitamin B I've been taking for thyroid. I could use a small bump in that phase since I've been O-ing around CD 20 of a 28 day cycle. I'm axious for her to get here cause that's my cue to order my swimmers.

jenger: You are the personals QUEEN, my friend. I think you just covered everyone in the thread!

I haven't made my appts yet; I'm supposed to call on CD 1 to schedule a CD 3 ultrasound and blood tests. I'd love to call and say "Nevermind, I'm good!" instead

Your chart looks good to me-- are you thinking you O'd on CD 17 instead of 18? TBH, 18 is better because of all the BDing, but I guess we'll see!

Dana - HA! Well, stranger things have happened, did you see this article?

afm - I think I'm out. Just started spotting. I'll wait until the bitter end to have you move me, but I can't imagine this is implantation spotting at 9DPO.

Yay!!! Even without a digi, a BFP means there is a baby in you, no doubt about it Congratulations!

It's very sweet that even after so many children, you both still get so excited. I'm the oldest of 5 and I want a big family, too

Hey, with all those ovulations you've GOT to get pregnant. Hopefully no more than 2! lol.

Ugh, men like that are a dime a dozen and totally not worth the time

Do you mind if I ask-- you've been TTC a long time (I know it's been off and on). Have you seen a specialist at all, or are you going on the "if it's meant to be, it'll happen" mentality? Of course I support either decision, but I've been a bit curious, and also I've felt badly for you that you've been trying for five years now and no sticky baby

Yep . . . I'm out

Please move me to waiting to be ready. We're going to take a few months off.

Man . . . even though I knew this was coming (and I'm half in favor of it), I'm getting really choked up about it. You ladies are amazing support. I hope I don't see a single one of you when we are ready to try again.

I'll be lurking, commenting, and rooting for all of you!

I HAVE been trying to do more personals! Otherwise people get overlooked, and I just write about myself...

On that note...
I think I o-ed on the night of the 17th...
And I am WORRIED about the 2 low temps 2 and 3 (or 3 and 4) dpo.

MAHNA!!!! Please don't leave us completely! I need you! (I still have you blog bookmarked, but that's not the same...)

Alright. *AHEM* CONGRATS TO THE BFPS!!!!!! Woo! Sorry to those AF found. If it makes you feel any better, I'm a hormone-ball. The bitch is due tomorrow here.

Anyone else ready for the snow tonight? (I'm in Southern NY so yeah....we're getting bombed with snow until Thursday)

Quick update on me:

So i mentioned before that I took out my NUVARING a few days ago and wasn't sure what would happen with my cycle but it looks like it got figured out because AF arrived this morning! I am kind of (which is weird i know) because now i know i am CD1 lol

It's been a long time since i've had a cycle and a cycle number...now i can sit tight and gear up for ovulation! (assuming it all goes like it should of course)

Congrats to all the BFP people and good luck to everyone else!! Is anyone else on CD 1 today?

Hey mamas!

With my first 2 kids, I always sort of flew below the radar with TTC and sort of popped up saying "Surprise! I'm pregnant!". This time, I'm sort of excited to publicly obsess.

I'm still a little "dazzled" by the idea. DP & I were fairly certain that we were done (although I always ached for ONE MORE). Last Thursday we both looked at each other and said "okay...let's do it!!!".

I've been on the mini-pill for 18 months and I've been completely off birth control for the last 2 months (during which, ironically, we were trying to avoid getting pregnant). I haven't temped or kept track of ANYTHING. If it doesn't happen this month, I'll start keeping track next month. My last couple cycles have been short. From what I can tell, I'm around CD 8.

So....now I'm just waiting around to O. Good luck ladies!

I'm so sorry, hun. I hope you find some peace in waiting. Just think, 10 years from now you'll have the child you were meant to have, and you'll be thanking G-d or fate or whomever/whatever that you weren't pregnant with a different child this round. I know that's not a lot of comfort right now, but I hope it's something.
